Unveiling the Momentum Integrated Collaboration Framework

Get ready to dive into a groundbreaking development in the world of migrant inclusion! After a year of dedication and collaboration, we are thrilled to announce the official launch of the Momentum Integrated Collaboration Framework.

Our journey began in September 2022, when we embarked on a mission to empower third-country national (TCN) women, with a special focus on refugees aged 18-35, in Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Our goal? To break down the barriers that have long hindered their access to vocational training opportunities and the job market.

What sets this framework apart is the incredibly inclusive and motivating approach we took in its creation. We didn't just draft it behind closed doors. Instead, we harnessed the collective wisdom of various stakeholders who were intimately involved in every step of its development.

The Momentum Project's primary research served as the bedrock of our framework, revealing the stark challenges TCN women face when trying to access vocational training and secure employment. Armed with this knowledge, we embarked on an ambitious journey.

Imagine 25 stakeholders coming together, fueled by unwavering commitment, to shape a visionary document—the Integrated Collaboration Framework. It's not just a static document; it's a living, breathing model for cooperation among diverse stakeholders. This groundbreaking framework provides invaluable guidance, inputs, and innovative interventions aimed at transforming the vocational training landscape and making the job market more inclusive, especially in the Social Economy sector.

Methodologically, our approach is a symphony of collaboration and inclusivity, driven by the transformative power of feminist principles. We navigated three distinct phases:

  • The Co-designing Phase: Where Momentum partners joined forces to lay the foundation of the Framework.

  • Multi-stakeholder Workshops: Our Participatory Labs collected inputs, made refinements, and fine-tuned the framework.

  • Final Tuning and Piloting: The culmination of all inputs, followed by rigorous testing and validation.

The result? A powerful tool that enables us to craft structured collaboration processes among Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Social Economy actors, Public Employment services, and Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers.

This is not just a framework; it's a movement, and you're invited to be a part of it. Together, we're defining actionable strategies to dismantle both structural and cultural barriers, paving the way for the seamless integration of migrant and refugee women into VET programs and the job market.

Dive into the full framework and join us in ushering in a new era of collaboration and empowerment.
