Our Impact

Thanks to everyone who joined us. As we wrap up this chapter, let's not forget that our journey doesn't end here. The impact we've made and the connections we've forged lay the groundwork for even greater accomplishments in the future. Together, we will build a just and sustainable society. But first, let's celebrate our collective impact!

Voices of MOMENTUM

  • Refugee women face greater integration challenges than their male refugee counterparts. It is not only language, culture,  access to the labor market or education system, but also the additional household and childcare, traditionally conducted by women and there may be victims of abusive behaviors. Specifically designed actions for different groups and specializations can help to empower women refugees to develop confidence and social skills, to improve gender balance and promote social integration.

Ioanna Glykou - Manager of Social Inclusion Unit at Greece’s Ministry of Migration and Asylum

  • The MOMENTUM project has been transformative for the participants. It's not just about gaining job skills; it's a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Through this initiative, they have not only enhanced their professional competencies but also found motivation to aspire for more. It offered a space for sharing knowledge, social skills, and newfound friendships that can truly open doors to a brighter future.

    Zira Krastina Trainer - Italy

  • Training migrant women and helping them to integrate into our country in the best possible conditions is as important as it is necessary also for us, social economy actors. In fact, giving them the tools to access better opportunities will not only benefit them and their families but our company and the society as a whole. They gain knowledge, increase self esteem and make personal connections, sharing experiences, networking, and collaborating, which we personally and our organization believe is one of the foundations for a more just society".
